         I initially started with researching what block set type was and how it is used in order to get an understanding of how to use it. From this I had to search for the fonts needed to be used in the project and expand or shrink the line spacing and increase the size until each word fit the box. With some of them I had to edit them since the words I chose didn't fit into the box so I increased the box by 0.5. This along with filling the text in order to fit the box allowed me to finish it. I feel like this was fairly easy but also a bit confusing as we were using a modified web version of illustrator which caused some issues that might've not occurred if we were using the desktop version. This was a valuable learning experience as it gave me some knowledge about the web version of illustrator as well as an understanding of block set type, how it is used, and how to utilize it to make designs better.             What is a type lock up?     - Type lock up is the combination of logo elements that are put together in order to enhance the logos design. This can be done in different variations such as vertical, horizontal, short, tall, and stacked which can change the orientation of the logo elements. Do type lock ups usually use one font?     - Type lock ups can be created using one or two fonts. There isn't a specific requirement but these lock ups tend to use 1 - 3 different fonts in the design. How could you use a type lock up?     - You could use type lock up in order to enhance the design of a logo and give it a certain structure that allows the design to stand out. You could additionally use lock up to give a websites design some structure.

          When doing illustrator we learned a lot of things that would be able to help us out with the design process and things we'd learn later this year.  One thing that we did in illustrator was learning how to utilize and create shapes on the platform and being able to modify the shapes into new shapes . This could help us when designing later on as knowing how to create and modify the shapes will enhance the designs we make. Additionally we learned the ways to design the shapes through color and stroke which could help to make the shapes unique and give it life with colors or outlines . We also learned how to modify shapes through tools like the pathfinder tool which allows us to turn certain shapes into other shapes through cutouts which could help to exclude a part of the shape or unite them together to make a new shape.
