Self-Portrait Color
For the color I had a bit of a different process than with the grays. Firstly I had to separate some of the grays since if I didn't then some parts of my hoodie would match the color of my skin. I also had to keep using the eye dropper tool to get a color that fit since I had the original image on the side and some parts looked the same when in gray but where different shades in the original. The color made some of the parts stand out more as in the original gray one, it was hard to tell where my eyes were since the colors blended and you could only tell where the pupil was. Color allowed me to fix that and make the detail of my eye more clear and obvious. When working on the background I used many different effects to make it such as gradient, noise, and outer glow for the stars. This project was time consuming but it taught me how to use the pen and curvature tool more effectively.
