Non-Destructive Image Adjustments

Non-Destructive Image Adjustments are modifications to images that don't permanently change or destroy the pixels and allows them to be edited in a different way when needed. This method helps designers by allowing them to change the pixels that they desire while not permanently altering them so if they want to go back and restart or change a certain aspect, then they have the pixels perfectly intact to do so.

I learned that with color fill it makes the entire image a solid color. This would cover the image you are trying to adjust and due to this lowering the opacity would help the image be more clear.

I learned that you could kind of get the same effect as color fill through gradient fill. I also learned that playing around with the gradient affect can get you gradients on different parts of the image.

I learned that brightness and contrast are used to make the image look more light and less dark and contrast makes those darks of an image pop out more.

I learned that levels can help you to balance out color making it darker or brighter. Also this image keeps coming out blurry despite looking clear on photoshop.

I learned that curves can be used to precisely determine how to modify how the image looks when it comes to the tone of the image.

I learned that exposure makes parts of the image pop out more and brings the colors out.

I learned that vibrance is used to make colors of an image look more or less dull by lessoning or increasing the color of the image.

I learned that hue and saturation can be used to put a hue of color onto the image or change the images colors in depending on how far the hue or saturation slider are.

I learned that color balance is used to balance out the colors an image has or make one color more apparent.

I learned that black and white changes the image to black and white.

I learned that with photo filter it can be used to mage the image have a filter on it like one that primarily makes the image warmer or cooler.

I learned that with channel mixer you can change how much RGB you want the image to have.

I learned that invert just inverts the colors the image has.

I learned that with posterize it can make the image look more simple by combining some colors or parts into a shape of color.

I learned that threshold controls how much black and white there is and is sort of a mix of posterize and black and white.

I learned that with gradient map, you can put a gradient over the whole image and change how it looks.
